Guys, it’s been a long offseason filled with way too much drama, but it’s time to put all of that behind us as we launch into the next era of Milwaukee Bucks basketball. A week from tonight, the Bucks play their first preseason game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, but today, proceedings officially kick off with Media Day.
As Brew Hoop has done in the past, we will publish two articles condensing the major takeaways from ownership, front office members, coaches, and players. However, if you want
to watch live, you can do so via the Bucks YouTube channel. Proceedings will kick off at 11:00 a.m. Central, starting with the ownership group. After that, general manager Jon Horst and head coach Taylor Jenkins will take the mic.
Player interviews will follow at 11:30. We don’t yet know the speaking order, and with no clear “leader” on the team now that Giannis is in South Beach, it will be interesting to see who gets the first crack. Myles Turner, AJ Green, or Kyle Kuzma might be that guy, but I could also see Tyler Herro going first because of his Milwaukee ties. We will obviously hear from the other trade pieces: Kel’el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., and Kasparas Jakucionis. Elsewhere, Ryan Rollins will surely take the podium, along with the rookie duo of Brayden Burries and Nate Ament.
