Earlier this month, the pro wrestling rumor mill was buzzing about Tom Brady’s potential appearance next month at WrestleMania 42 in Allegiant Stadium. The NFL legend is part-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, who play their home games in that stadium.
Brady has been in the wrestling headlines lately for dismissing what WWE wrestlers do as “cute” but not at the athletic level of NFL stars. After exchanging some trash talk over the last few weeks, Brady and full-time YouTube douchebag WWE star Logan Paul
will compete this weekend at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic.
In a new interview with Sports Illustrated, Brady took another shot at WWE by referring to it as “fake BS.” Here is Tom’s answer when asked how many WWE wrestlers it takes to sack him:
“All their stuff is so cute and scripted, and they know what’s going on. In a football game, you don’t know. So they wouldn’t even get near me. Plus if I had a good offensive line, they’d punch those guys right in the throat, and they’d be probably be crying. There’s no fake BS we do in American football. So for those guys, it’d be a whole different story for ‘em.”
WWE star Charlotte Flair was quick to respond on social media:
“A lot of words to say ‘if I had five guys to protect me, I might be ok’.”
