The USA Basketball women’s national team defeated Senegal, 110-46 on Wednesday in San Juan, Puerto Rico for the FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Tournament.
With the exception of a quick one-point lead by the Senegalese, the Americans dominated and were leading by as many as 66 points as the margin of victory got larger. Team USA shot 59 percent from the field while Senegal only made 26 percent of their shots.
Washington Mystics forward Kiki Iriafen played 17 minutes and scored 6 points off the bench
for the win. Rhyne Howard led with 21 points, while Caitlin Clark added 17 more. For Senegal, Nene Ndiaye and Khadija Faye led with 12 points each.
