The Los Angeles Chargers are getting ready for their big Week 9 matchup inside Nissan Stadium against the Tennessee Titans.
The Chargers were hoping to have Mekhi Becton this week despite having a knee injury, but he has been ruled inactive.
Defensive back Tony Jefferson (hamstring), cornerback Tarheeb Still (knee), outside linebacker Kyle Kennard, offensive tackle Austin Deculus (ankle) and tight end Will Dissly (illness) are also inactive for the Chargers against the Titans.
Losing Becton, who was
questionable on the team’s final injury report, hurts the offensive line, but it may be in the team’s best interest playing against a poor Titans squad, who is missing some of their top talent.
Defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons, wide receiver Calvin Ridley, wide receiver Bryce Oliver, linebacker Arden Key, offensive linemen Drew Moss and Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson and defensive back Xavier Woods are out for the Titans.
Kickoff between the Chargers and Titans is set for 10 a.m. PT. Fans can watch the game on CBS or stream it on Paramount Plus.
