What is the story about?
Well, Illinois takes the court for the first time this season on Saturday in a real game after losing back in April in the Final Four.
The Illini are in Cincinnati taking on the Bearcats, but, unfortunately, you won’t be able to see it.
It’s the only exhibition or regular season game all season not on TV or streaming in some format. While the Illini’s final two exhibitions are against Baylor and UIC at State Farm Center (and both will be on BTN+), there’s no streaming option for Saturday’s 4 p.m. CT
tipoff in Cincy.
You should expect some highlights and a box score after the game, but don’t expect a full game tape on what the Balkans and the freshman do in their opener.
The season opener is now just two weeks away — Monday, Nov. 2 vs. FDU.
