With all signs once again point to Tyson Fury returning to boxing in the coming year iFL TV just recently caught up with him to ask him a few questions, beginning with one about a potential fight against
Anthony Joshua, reasoning that it would be awful if both of them retired for good without ever having met in the ring.
“I don’t think so,” Fury responded. “I think you’ve had the use of me, all of you, for the past 20 years. I’ve made more f-ckin’ millionaires than the lotto has in this game, yeah. And if I never box again, I’m happy. Very happy, and you should be too because I’m out of this in one piece, still good looking, still able to turn every content out there and make ‘em happy. That’s what I do, I make people happy. I bring joy…I miss you all, too. God bless you, and I’ll see you in 2026 if the deal’s right.”
Fury was then asked about recent social media comments about a third fight with Oleksandr Usyk after he feels he was hard done by the first two times.
“I’ve watched that fight 100 times, even the last one, yeah — the last one more than the first one, really, because he did have that one round in Round 8 where he wobbled me all over the place, although I didn’t go down. I refused to go down like a f-ckin’ Spartan. But the second fight, wasn’t close, man. Please, go and watch the fight. Even the commentators afterwards, they all said four rounds up to Fury — all of ‘em! Watch TNT Sports!”
Finally, Fury would take a dramatic stance on the upcoming Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua fight.
“I think Jake Paul chins AJ if they fight. 100%. If they fight I’m putting £1M on Jake Paul.”
