Henry Cejudo is headed to Misfits Boxing next week where he’ll face off with the actor who plays Ashtray from Euphoria.
Yes, you read that correctly. “Triple C,” who has an Olympic gold medal in wrestling and was a UFC double champion, has accepted a last-minute change to his U.K. influencer promotion bout on September 26th. Cejudo was originally set to face Kick streamer Deen The Great. Now he’ll face Wanna Walton, whose credits include HBO’s Euphoria and The Umbrella Academy.
Walton is 3-0-1 in boxing
with three of those fights coming under Jake Paul’s MVP promotions. According to MVP co-head Nakisa Bidarian, Misfits offered up a “significant financial guarantee” to allow Walton to fight Cejudo, and MVP is expecting Wanna to show Henry what’s what in the ring.
“I knew all along that Dean The Bitch would back out, and so I am not surprised he has done,” Cejudo said in a press release announcing the change. “But I have a new opponent now, who thinks he’s a fighter, but Wanna will be playing another robot by the time I’m done with him.”
Cejudo retired from the UFC (for the second time) in December 2025 after three tough losses to Merab Dvalishvili, Song Yadong, and Payton Talbott. Since then he’s been appearing regularly under the Real American Freestyle banner where he’s beaten Urijah Faber and gone 1-1 against Dvalishvili.
Cejudo’s wrestling is still sharp, but we’ll see how his boxing skills hold against a much younger opponent in Walton. MMA fighters don’t have a great track record when they step into the boxing ring, but it would be pretty embarrassing to lose to an actor with a boxing side hustle.
