Earlier this week, we asked fans to predict Michigan at USC on Saturday night. And now the results are in.
The majority of fans believe Michigan will win, and most of that majority think it’ll be a close
game. 58% of fans believe Michigan will win by 3-7 points, 28% say it’ll be a Michigan win by at least 8 points, while a combined 20% predicted a USC win from 3-7 points (11%) or 8 or more (9%).
In Maize n Brew’s Roundtable, four of our writers picked USC while three picked the Wolverines. ESPN Analytics give the Wolverines less of a chance than that, giving Michigan just a 31.8% chance of victory. Betting odds, though, do predict this to be a close won, pegging Michigan as a 2.5-point underdog.
