During the season, Cleveland Browns fans vote in SB Nation Reacts to express their confidence level in the team or their thoughts on other topics.

We started the season off by just assessing the general level of confidence that Browns fans have in the direction of the team. Heading into Week 1, 66% of Browns fans are confident in the direction of the team. Given the fact that the Browns were 3-14 last year and do not have a long-term answer at the quarterback position, that’s a pretty decent percentage
to have 2 out of every 3 fans feeling good. The Browns have done a good job of bolstering their defensive youth, and the hope is that QB Joe Flacco can be the right bridge quarterback to not only hold the fort until the team finds their next quarterback of the future, but still lead a high-octane enough of an offense that keeps them in games week in and week out. Remember, this is the same guy who came off the couch in Kevin Stefanski’s offense in 2023 and led them to four straight wins and a playoff berth.
On the other side, we look at our opponent this week, the Cincinnati Bengals. 72% of their fanbase is confident in the direction of the team, and they are a group that has a great quarterback in Joe Burrow and two top receivers in the league. Their offensive line and many aspects of their defense are cause for concern, though. If Cleveland beats Cincinnati this week, you can bet that the Browns will surpass the Bengals in next week’s measurements.

On a national scale, fans were asked who will win each division in the NFL. The AFC East was the most lopsided outcome, with the Buffalo Bills (94%) being favored by fans to clinch it in their sleep. After that, though, the next most lopsided division was the AFC North, as 80% of fans are favoring the Baltimore Ravens to win the crown. Next up were the Bengals at 15%, followed by the Steelers (4%), and the Browns not even being given consideration at 1%.
