We got double-LCS action on Monday and both games delivered, the Dodgers and Brewers exchanging haymakers before Milwaukee walked away with a 2-0 series lead and the Guardians pouring it on late against the Rays to take Game 1 on the road. The NL teams will take a break as the series shifts over to Los Angeles, but the defending champs have to feel like they’re on the ropes at least a little after taking two clean shots to the face with their best pitchers on the mound. Meanwhile, Cleveland taking the opener
with Drew Rasmussen pitching into the seventh inning is as good a sign as they could ask for to compete against the AL’s top team. Both matchups should give us plenty to be excited for as baseball fans, even if the best Yankees fans can hope for is schadenfreude at this point.
It’s relatively quiet day on our front, as we’ll have a couple things going up in the morning for you to check out. Matt has a double-feature, first going more in-depth on those two playoff results before diving into Charlie Silvera’s playing career on his birthday. In-between, Michael will attempt to rank the top moments of this strange and silly season the Yankees played.

Questions/Prompts:
1. Is Shohei Ohtani too much of a liability at the plate to play right now? Are the Dodgers doomed if he doesn’t get it together?
2. Does Cleveland stealing Game 1 on the road from the Rays make them favored to win the series now?
