Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will not be staging any mixed martial arts (MMA) events this weekend, but combat sports fans can still get their fighting fix with Zuffa Boxing 3, which streams on Paramount+
on Sunday (Feb. 15) from inside Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Efe Ajagba (20-1-1, 14 KOs) and Charles Martin (30-4-1, 27 KOs) collide in a 10-round heavyweight affair in the Zuffa Boxing 3 headliner, with Umar Dzambekov (13-0, 9 KOs) battling Ahmed Elbiali (24-1, 19 KOs) in the 10-round light heavyweight co-main event.
The eight-round lightweight contest between Abel Mejia (10-0, 7 KOs) and Jaybrio Pe Benito (6-0, 4 KOs) kicks off the Paramount+ main card, which gets underway at 9 p.m. ET.
Former boxing champ Roy Jones Jr. probably won’t be tuning in.
“Guys in the UFC make more money in boxing in one night than they make their whole career in the UFC,” Jones Jr. told Fight Hub TV. “That’s a problem. Balance the problem in your sport and make my sport better. But don’t go and take my sport and do the same thing you did with your sport. Your sport has a level with how high it can go. I don’t want that.”
