The Rays are one win away from their first World Series appearance since the pandemic-shortened 2020 season. The teams play Game 6 without an off day, with the schedule compressed due to Friday’s rainout.
A Rays win tonight means no baseball until Friday, when Game 1 of the World Series will be played in Milwaukee.
7 p.m. CT: Guardians at Rays (Rays lead series 3-2)
TV: TBS. Announcers: Brian Anderson, Jeff Francoeur, Ron Darling and Lauren Shehadi.
Shawn Armstrong, RHP vs. Freddy Peralta, RHP
It’s another bullpen game for the Guards. If they can pull
this one out, they’ll have Gavin Williams available for Game 7.
Don’t underestimate them. They’ve already won two elimination games on the road this postseason, against the White Sox.
Of course, the Rays are a better team than the White Sox. Still, this series might go the distance.
