After one week removed from one of their worst rushing performances in franchise history, the New Orleans Saints have moved on from Run Game Coordinator T.J. Paganetti.
When the Saints hired Paganetti, it seemed like an excellent move because of his role in building the historic
Super Bowl-winning Philadelphia Eagles’ offensive line. That impact was supposed to carry over to the Saints’ offensive line and running game, but as we know, those expectations fell short.
It’s going to be very interesting to see what changes on the field after this move. With all the pieces of the puzzle involved in the run game and the overall offensive line struggles, Paganetti might just be the first domino to fall.
Hopefully, moving on from Paganetti can fix at least some of the running issues New Orleans has had this season, and if that happens, we could see the Saints start to turn this disappointing season around.
