The New Orleans Saints stay in the Dome to face the New England Patriots at home this week. The Saints are coming off their first win of the season, while New England is coming off their biggest win of the season, beating a Buffalo team that the Saints took into late in the game two weeks ago. The Saints now know the taste of victory this season, and will have to play another great game to get another this week.
Now let’s take a look at this and all of the matchups in Week 6.
Last week I went 7-7
I
told you so: Saints over Giants!
What do I know: Ravens over Texans?

WEEK 6
Thursday, October 9th – Thursday Night Football
Eagles(4-1) at Giants(1-4)
Philly will rebound from a crushing home loss to Denver last week, by having one of their best efforts of the season, against arguably the worst team in the NFC. Philadelphia wins 24-10.
Pick: Eagles

Sunday, October 12th – Very Early Game
Broncos(3-2) at* Jets(0-5) – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – London, England
Denver stared down a “prove it” game in Philly last week and didn’t blink. Now the face a Jets team that may very well be the worst in the NFL, and the Broncos could beat them in London, Denver, New Jersey, or anywhere without batting an eye. Denver wins 31-9.
Pick: Broncos

Sunday, October 12th – Early Games
Rams(3-2) at Ravens(1-4)
Baltimore may be having the most disappointing season in the NFL so far, while the Rams have looked spotty since their loss in Philly. These teams should be better than they have shown, and the Rams will show more in a close one here. Los Angeles wins 28-26.
Pick: Rams
***
Cowboys(2-2-1) at Panthers(2-3)
Following a softball opponent in the Jets, Dallas now gets a slightly smaller softball in Carolina. Dallas wins 31-12.
Pick: Cowboys
***
Cardinals(2-3) at Colts(4-1)
Shane Steichen’s offense may just be the best in the NFL, and they’ll prove it again here against Jonathan Gannon’s defense. Indianapolis wins 35-16.
Pick: Colts
***
Seahawks(3-2) at Jaguars(4-1)
Jacksonville is soaring, following their massive win on Monday Night, and they will carry that over hare against a very good Seattle team. This will be a close one. Jacksonville wins 28-23.
Pick: Jaguars
***
Chargers(3-2) at Dolphins(1-4)
The Chargers have fallen off a cliff since their 3-0 start, but now they get exactly what they need, facing arguably the worst team in the NFL not named the Jets. Los Angeles wins 29-19.
Pick: Chargers
***
Browns(1-4) at Steelers(3-1)
Pittsburgh has been looking much better than expected, and that will continue against their AFC North rivals. Pittsburgh wins 23-19.
Pick: Steelers
***
Patriots(3-2) at Saints(1-4)
Despite a shaky start, the Saints looked at their best last week in a win over the Giants. Jaxson Dart was forced into more than his share of turnovers, making for a tough day for the rookie, but this week, Drake Maye is no rookie. Maye led his team to a huge win last week and is looking to carry that over in New Orleans. This game will be tight all the way through, playing out a last team with the ball wins the game scenario. Tied at 19 on the final drive, Drake Maye leads the Pats to a game-winning touchdown, much to the disappointment of the New Orleans faithful. New England wins 26-19.
Pick: Patriots
***
Sunday, October 12th – Late Games
Titans(1-4) at Raiders(1-4)
Both of these offenses have been terrible, but it will be the Vegas defense that makes the biggest play to seal the win. Las Vegas wins 23-17.
Pick: Raiders
***
49ers(4-1) at Buccaneers(4-1)
As usual, the dynamic duo of Baker Mayfield and Emeka Egbuka will make all the difference in this one. Tampa Bay wins 28-14.
Pick: Buccaneers
***
Bengals(2-3) at Packers(2-2-1)
Much like he did for Cleveland in Week 3, Joe Flacco will keep the ship steady against Green Bay. This one will take overtime, but the Pack will get the win over Cincy’s other Joe. Green Bay wins 26-23.
Pick: Packers
***
Sunday Night Football
Lions(4-1) at Chiefs(2-3) – Game of the Week
After stumbling out of the gate in Week 1, Detroit has been on a tear. Now they face a Kansas City team that is spiraling, especially following a terrible finish in Jacksonville on Monday Night. Another week, another gut-wrenching loss for the Chiefs. Detroit wins 27-26.
Pick: Lions
***
Monday, October 13th – Monday Night Football Doubleheader
Bills(4-1) at Falcons(2-2)
Buffalo has sputtered a bit over the last two weeks, and although it doesn’t make much sense, that will carry over to this one. Atlanta has been a bit of an enigma this season, but as long as they aren’t playing a division opponent, Atlanta looks downright competent. Atlanta will stun Buffalo with their best performance of the season. Atlanta wins 26-16.
Pick: Falcons
***
Bears(2-2) at Commanders(3-2)
It has been a bit of a roller coaster season for Washington so far, but they remembered who they are when Jayden Daniels returned last week and that will carry over here against Chicago. Washington wins 21-17.
Pick: Commanders
