Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez will go for a world title in a third division on Saturday, June 13, 2026, when he faces WBA bantamweight titleholder Antonio Vargas.
Rodriguez (23-0, 16 KO) has already won belts at super flyweight and flyweight, as the 26-year-old Texan has made his pound-for-pound case over the last four years in pretty dominant fashion. The 29-year-old Vargas will look to hold Bam off from chasing more glory, as the ultimate target for Bam is at super bantamweight against Naoya Inoue.
