Happy Sunday, Jets fan!
Injuries continue to be one of the key stories of the early stages of Jets training camp. At Saturday’s practice, number two overall pick David Bailey hobbled off the field with an ankle injury. The good news is that the injury is minor, and Bailey is not expected to miss much time. Seventh round pick VJ Payne is expected to miss a couple of weeks. Unlike Bailey, he is not expected to play a big role as a rookie. Injuries are a part of camp. Fortunately the Jets haven’t had
any major injuries to key contributors so far.
