Sam Householder: 12-5 is achievable, but feels daunting when looking at the schedule. I think 10-7, while slightly worse than last year, would be celebrated if the team takes a step forward. It would still have enough wins to make the postseason.
Josh Sunderbruch: 10-6-1, with them just barely making or missing a wildcard.
TJ Starman: I don’t feel great about this prediction. Not because it’s a low win total, but because I had expected it to be, and yet I still landed at 11-6. But then again, I’m also the guy who pinned his 7-10 prediction from a year ago as evidence of knowing less than Jon Snow.
Gary Baugher Jr.: I’ve got us at 11 wins to repeat the 2025 season record, with the division essentially coming down to the last few weeks of the year. Thankfully, the Bears defend home turf and lock the division up. I believe 12 wins is our absolute ceiling in 2026.
Bryan Orenchuk: 12-5 followed by a battle-tested deep playoff run.
Donald Gooch: I am predicting a 12-5 record for the Bears this season and a division title.
Ryan Droste: 12-5. Following a 6-3 start going into the bye week, the Bears finish 6-2 down the stretch. We sweep Minnesota, split with Green Bay and Detroit, and have some statement wins along the way (such as the Thursday night game against New England).
Sarah DeNicolo: 12-5 is my prediction. Definitely a difficult schedule and there’ll be close games, but I think the team did get better this offseason and believe in the coaching staff.
Lester A. Wiltfong Jr.: The NFC North is very good, and a season ago, the Bears only won 2 games in the division. I think they improve on that, and I see them improving on last year’s 11-6 campaign to win 12 games.
Jeff Berckes: 16-1. Don’t want to get greedy. We’ll save the undefeated season until next year.
