For most NFL teams, the ability to win is based on finding a small edge and exploiting that. The problem for the Tennessee Titans is that they don’t even have a small edge most weeks. Is that any different this week?
The Colts have the weakest defense the Titans have faced to this point. Will the Titans offense be able to take advantage? I wrote earlier this week that the Titans need to change their game plan up and come out aggressive. Let Cam Ward throw the ball around the yard. Create opportunities
for him to make plays off schedule – whether that be with RPOs, bootlegs, or just running some no-huddle early in the game. That is where Ward has been at his best throughout his career.
Indianapolis is allowing 254 passing yards per game. That is 28th in the league. Daboll wants to be balanced, but he also needs to be flexible. The kids would say “Let Cam cook!” I’m not sure if Cam can cook at this point, but this would be a great week to find out.
