Bayern Munich’s rumored capture of Ismael Saibari from PSV would the second transfer of the summer after Noël Aséko Nkili returned from Hannover 96. It is a big transfer, too, as the rumored €50 million+€5 million deal could land him anywhere between spots 5 to 8 in the Bavarians’ all time most expensive transfer expenditures, depending on how many bonuses are activated.
But readers are advised to not get their hopes up on more big signings for the attack. This expensive deal could perhaps prove to be
the only big expenditure for the forward position in the 2026 transfer window, as Christian Falk reports (as captured by @iMiaSanMia_GER) the Bavarians have little planned post-Saibari:
If the transfer of Ismael Saibari to FC Bayern goes through, that should be it for new signings in the attack.
BFW Analysis
Despite the seemingly imminent signing of Ismael Saibari, the forward areas seem a little light. In particular, it is not clear who could play on the left of the attack in the case of Luis Díaz missing some games during the season.
However, that does not mean the Bavarians need to act right away. The transfer market begins in July and will see a lot of movement. Perhaps a market opportunity will arise in the mayhem. It usually does.
Additionally, there are still rumors that Bayern have offered campus graduate Arijon Ibrahimović a new contract after a very strong loan at FC Heidenheim in the Bundesliga. If the 20-year-old chooses to stay, there should be no need for another signing.
