The Washington Commanders released their final injury report for Sunday afternoon’s game on Friday and then made one roster move yesterday. LB Ale Kaho was elevated last week, but only played on special teams. He could see more action today due to injuries on defense.
Five players were ruled out on Friday due to injuries. LB Frankie Luvu (groin) and TE Chig Okonkwo (hamstring) will both miss their second game of the season. QB Jayden Daniels is out after dislocating his left elbow vs the Dallas Cowboys.
RG Sam Cosmi is still in the concussion protocol after a friendly fire hit. And LB Nick Cross is out with an illness after being hospitalized in Dallas following the game.
Rookie quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis is active for his first NFL game and will serve has Marcus Mariota’s backup. UDFA OL Tanoa Togiai is also active for his first NFL game. WR Luke McCaffrey is active for his first game this season after being a healthy scratch the first two weeks. The Commanders have 7 WRs active today.
OLB Javontae Jean-Baptiste is the lone healthy inactive.
