Solo Sikoa got caught slipping on Friday Night SmackDown.
Sikoa showed up during the closing moments of the main event between Royce Keys and Gunther. Though he was there to support Keys, Sikoa kept calling him by his real first name.
“Will! Will! C’mon, Will,” Sikoa shouted as the star formerly known as Will “Powerhouse” Hobbs scored a near-fall on Gunther.
Sikoa’s gaffe was easy to forget as moments later, he ate a nasty chair shot to the face, courtesy of “Will.”
Following a ref bump, the MFT leader
passed Keys a steel chair and encouraged him to use it on Gunther. Keys picked it up, smiled, then threw it full force right at Sikoa’s face, though he appeared to have gotten a hand up to protect himself.
Rather than finish Gunther, Keys barked at a fallen Sikoa. Gunther took advantage of the situation, blasting Keys with a clothesline. The Austrian followed up with a powerbomb for the win, earning a title match against Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at Clash In Italy.
