The Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars will be linked for a while following their big trade during the 2025 NFL draft. The Jaguars saw two-way star Travis Hunter as the big piece they had to have,
while the Browns acquired picks that have become DT Mason Graham and RB Quinshon Judkins, with Jacksonville’s 2026 first-round pick as the final piece of the puzzle to come.
There are some questioning how the Jags have used Hunter, given how much they gave up to get him.
The two teams made another trade two weeks ago, exchanging CB Greg Newsome II for CB Tyson Campbell (along with a late draft pick exchange). Jacksonville is 0-2 since that deal, with Newsome only playing 34 snaps in two contests while Campbell played a huge role in Cleveland’s Week 7 victory.
Following two Monday Night Football games, the 2026 NFL draft order has changed a little bit, with the Browns now having two Top 20 selections after Week 7. Last week, Cleveland was slotted with picks #2 and 21. The Browns victory has their selections dropping a few spots:
- New York Jets: 0-7
- Miami Dolphins: 1-6
- New Orleans Saints
- Tennesee Titans
- Baltimore Ravens: 1-5
- Cleveland Browns: 2-5
- Las Vegas Raiders
- New York Giants
- Arizona Cardinals
- Houston Texans: 2-4
The Jacksonville Jaguars, now 4-3, are slotted into the 20th pick but have the same record as the Carolina Panthers, currently in the 16th position.
There are a lot of games left. With the AFC North a mess (the Cincinnati Bengals make for the third team from the division with a top 11 selection as of now) and the AFC being bunched up, the Browns could see their draft picks move all over the place before the end of the season.
