Left tackle Joe Alt was carted off as he hurt his right ankle for the second time this season against the Tennessee Titans in their Week 9 matchup.
Alt hurt his ankle back in Week 4 against the New York Giants, which caused him to miss three games. Re-injuring his ankle is a bad sign for the Chargers, who rely on Alt to be an anchor on the offensive line.
With Alt on the sidelines, Trey Pipkins III should have a larger role for the Chargers to close out the game against the Titans. The Titans will look to target him for the second half.
