Exciting Barcelona youngster Ebrima Tunkara is expected to sign a new agreement with the club shortly.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Catalan giants hope the 15-year-old will put pen to paper on a new deal with the club in the coming weeks.
Tunkara is yet another exciting talent coming through La Masia and will turn 16 in early March. He’s already been tipped for big things and Barca look to be making sure his future is locked down.
Former academy director Albert Puig has previously talked up Tunkara and explained how he compares to Lamine Yamal.
“Lamine made you win the games on his own because he made it up himself. He was touched by the wand of geniuses,” he told Sport.
“Ebrima is different, but having him on the pitch makes things a lot easier for others. He gave you a guarantee that he improved everything and always showed up in the important games.
“As a coach, with Ebrima you were calm. I’ll tell you a fact: with him, in 30 league games in benjamines and 30 with infantiles we didn’t lose a single game.”
Definitely one to watch over the coming months and years.
