For many Bayern Munich fans, the fact that Dayot Upamecano has less than 6 months remaining on his contract at the Bavarians is a source of worry. The sooner Bayern’s star defender re-signs, if he re-signs, the better.
The Frenchman himself, however, does not feel he needs to hurry, even if he prefers a quick resolution:
“For me there’s no pressure. I’m talking to Max and Christoph, everything’s good with everyone,” Upamecano said, as captured by @iMiaSanMia. “I hope there’s a solution soon. I’m very happy to be playing for this great club.”
Ultimately, Upamecano’s position grows stronger with every passing day. The uncertainty about his future cannot be easy for the 2022 World Cup finalist, but time is still on his side.
