For the next few nights, we’re going to try out something new for the night owls in the Purple Row community.
We’d like to pose a question here to set the stage for future discussion.
So here’s tonight’s topic: Who do you think will play first base for the Colorado Rockies in 2025?
We know it won’t be Warming Bernabel, who declared free agency on Friday
. We also know it won’t be Michael Toglia, who was non-tendered right before Thanksgiving. That leaves — at least based on players currently listed on the
40-man roster — Blaine Crim and Troy Johnson.
Clearly, Charlie Condon (No. 2 PuRP) is the first baseman of the future, but who will start the 2026 season there? Someone already on the Rockies roster or a yet-unknown free agent?
Let us know in the comments.
