Will Aaron Donald take over the Rams-Cardinals Week 6 matchup? This week’s NFL predictions feature five bold calls for Sunday’s NFC West showdown, including a prediction that the legendary defensive tackle will deliver a memorable performance.
The Rams are coming off a heartbreaking overtime loss to the Buffalo Bills, leaving Sean McVay’s team looking to bounce back and keep pace in a competitive NFC West. Meanwhile, the Arizona Cardinals enter the matchup looking to take advantage of their divisional
opponent and make a statement of their own. Can the Rams respond after their Week 5 heartbreaking loss? Will Donald be the one to right the ship? Here are five bold predictions for Rams-Cardinals Week 6.
1. (1) – # of Field Goals that Sean McVay lets Blake Grupe attempt
I don’t anticipate Blake Grupe being thrown to the wolves in his first action. I think Sean McVay will be ultra aggressive on 4th down scenarios, especially if the team is in 50+ yard field goal range. I suspect Grupe will get 1 attempt and it will come within 40 yards. Probably best to give Grupe an easy test first before a difficult one…
2. Secondary picks off Brissett twice
Jacoby Brissett does not throw many interceptions but the Rams will get there hands on two of his passes. Trent McDuffie and Kam Kinchens grab interceptions for the defense. *Bolder prediction* – Trent McDuffie’s is a pick 6!
3. Aaron Donald records 3 sacks
I think the Rams legend finally gets on the board in Week 6. He had a beautiful spin move in Week 5 to sack Josh Allen but the secondary was flagged for defensive holding/illegal contact. How will Week 6 go? With Donald’s snap count increasing weekly, I believe he gets on the field for 70% of the snaps and wrecks havoc with Arizona’s interior line.
Aaron Donald is still near the top of the list in multi-sack games over the last 10 years… I think he makes it another…
4. Higbee makes it four straight games of 60+ yards
Tyler Higbee has be a stud for the Rams in 2026. With the Rams not having a WR3, Higbee has been reliable for Stafford. Not only is Higbee contributing significant lines in the box score, he is also being targeted in crucial 3rd and 4th down scenarios. The love for Higbee continues in Week 6. Not only will he collect 60+ yards but he tallies a 100 yard game!
5. Rams run for 200+ yards
Last year Blake Corum had a huge game vs Arizona. With the Rams having thrown the ball a ton over the last three weeks, I think McVay makes it a priority to get his offensive line working downhill via the run game. Kyren Williams and Blake Corum each get 15 rushing attempts and they combine for 200 yards as Los Angeles blows out Arizona in the second half.
