A quiet first day at the winter meetings came and went, with rumors emanating from Orlando but little actual activity taking place. That’ll likely change at some point this week, but it’s anyone’s guess whether the Yankees will get in on the fun. Regardless of how busy baseball execs are down in Florida, it’ll be a busy day on the site, as Andrew and I will continue to keep you updated with the latest rumors and moves coming out of the meetings. Also, check out the report card on Austin Wells’ season
from Jeremy, a profile of interesting free agent reliever Robert Suárez, and some more good prospect coverage from Nolan, who goes through the ten prospects that just missed our Top 10 Prospects list from last week.
Questions/Prompts:
1. Were you surprised with how quiet the first day of the winter meetings was?
2. The Yankees were lightly linked to a handful of players, such as Trevor Megill, Brad Keller, and MacKenzie Gore. Did any of them particularly interest you?
