Defensive Player of the Week
Miles Byrd (San Diego State)
The junior guard lived up to his reputation for being an elite defender this week. Byrd averaged four steals, four rebounds, and two blocks for the Aztecs. Byrd is often tasked with guarding the opposing team’s best player and still gets it done on both sides of the floor.

For the second consecutive week, Hall is the freshman of the week. The Lobo guard has taken his game to a new level over the past month. He had two impressive performances in wins over Nevada and Fresno State. For the week, Hall averaged 17.5 points, six rebounds and two steals. Hall is close to locking up freshman of the year honors.
