Mark Campbell and TCU Women’s Basketball continues to stay hot in the transfer portal, adding former LSU guard Bella Hines. Hines becomes the fifth transfer addition this offseason for the Horned Frogs as TCU looks to reload the roster with Olivia Miles and Marta Suarez set to become WNBA draft selections after leading TCU to its second trip to the Elite Eight. Hines was an elite five-star prospect coming out of high school in New Mexico, ranked as the No. 5 shooting guard in the Class of 2025 per

Hines played in 33 games for the Tigers during her true freshman campaign, averaging 13 minutes per game off the bench. She scored 4.2 points per game on 45% shooting from the field and over 37% from beyond the arc, adding 2.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game. Despite being overshadowed behind the wealth of guard talent on the LSU depth chart, Hines contributed on both ends of the court, creating nearly a steal per game while locking down top opponents; with the Horned Frogs losing guards Donovyn Hunter and Taliyah Parker
While the Frogs have previously focused portal efforts on experienced players near the end of their collegiate eligibility, the 2026 additions have thus far included exclusively underclass players, with Hines joining fellow freshmen Lara Somfai, Avery Hjelmstad and sophomore Lanie Grant, Jadyn Wooten.
