We are in the home stretch now, and the Deacs are already playing their penultimate home game of the 2025-26 season. Wake Forest and Syracuse are very similar teams in that they are pretty evenly matched and both underperformed this season. With the Orange just 1 win ahead of Wake in the conference standings, this game could have some important seeding implications for the ACC Tournament. Despite that, a 5:45 game on the CW between two bottom tier ACC teams with 2 potentially lame duck coaches is probably not going to generate a ton of excitement.
