We’re here! The Seattle Seahawks won the 285th and final game of the 2025 NFL season a mere seven months ago, signifying a second Super Bowl victory in franchise history. On a rare Wednesday night at Lumen Field, the Seahawks will rematch the AFC champion New England Patriots.
It’ll be the first ever game for the Khoslas as Seahawks owners, and the first regular season game for new offensive coordinator Brian Fleury. This will be a super-charged atmosphere on a night when a new Super Bowl banner will be unveiled.

The Seahawks are rightful favorites but it’s a new season, so don’t always assume that what happened last year will seamlessly carry over. Seattle is banged up at safety and has unproven depth at corner in Nehemiah Pritchett. New England’s offense should be stronger with the additions of A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs, plus some shuffling of the offensive line. And yet, the Patriots defense went through considerable change and there are question marks at the edge rusher position, which could play into Seattle’s hands on offense.
