Alexander Isak has moved out of his £7,000-per-month rented home in Darras Hall, Northumberland, as speculation over his Newcastle United future intensifies.
The Swedish striker, who has told the club he wants to join Liverpool and has made it clear
, via his agent, that he will never again play for the Magpies, is understood by the Daily Mail to have left the property for reasons unrelated to his transfer push.Isak’s neighbours told the Daily Mail that the decision was made after two burglaries left
the forward and his family with what is described as “a sense of unease.”
Isak had been living in the four-bedroom house since his £63 million move from Real Sociedad in 2022. He had rented the property on a 12-month basis, with the term due for renewal this summer. The home was put on the market last month.
For now, Isak is not training with the first team and will miss the Premier League opener at Aston Villa. Newcastle rejected a £110 million offer from Liverpool earlier this month, and a sale is not expected unless a replacement striker is signed, whether Isak likes it or not.
Manager Eddie Howe has said he wants Isak to change his mind and remain at St James’ Park, though he admits that scenario is unlikely amid the claim from Isak’s agent that the Sweden international doesn’t plan to put on the black and white stripes anymore.
