While it was announced that Johnny Fisher has signed a deal with Zuffa Boxing
and is scheduled to make his debut under their banner on September 26, his opponent had not been formally announced. Sky Sports now reports that Michael Pirotton will get the nod as his opponent in the 10-round main event.Pirotton (12-2, 6 KOs), who fights out of Belgium, is coming off two consecutive wins in 2026 that followed two consecutive defeats in 2025. He’s a low-level opponent who will be taking a marginal step
up in class here against Fisher, who isn’t exactly a world beater himself.
Fisher (14-1, 12 KOs) says he’s got plans for himself in this sport and to get to where he wants to go, he’ll need to take care of business in this outing.
“It’s a golden ticket for Michael Pirotton, but it’s also my golden ticket because if I win, I get to go on to bigger and better things. I’ve got ambitions in this game.”
The main goal is securing the win, says Fisher, but he’s also hoping to be the first to stop his opponent and believes he has the power and will to do just that come fight night.
