A Minor Trade That Could Pay Major Dividends for Tigers | SI.com
Brennan Bernardino was one of the Rockies’ more reliable relievers in 2026, posting a 2.81 ERA across 64 innings. Alvin Garcia suggests the Tigers could target the veteran left-hander in a trade involving a pitching prospect. With Bernardino approaching his 35th birthday, it’s certainly worth considering what Colorado could get in return.
But he’s affordable, under team control, and coming off a strong season. The Rockies shouldn’t be in any hurry to move him unless Detroit is willing to offer something worthwhile.
