A looming question mark over one of the biggest stars for the USMNT has been answered as Christian Pulisic is reportedly set to sign a contract extension with AC Milan. According to ESPN, the new deal would see CP10 stay with the club through 2031 and would end when he is 32 years old. His current deal is set to expire at the end of the 2026-27 season and his status with the club had been undetermined until now.
The news comes as Pulisic returned to his team following an injury suffered during the
World Cup. As the Serie A season began, he quickly reestablished himself as a key part of the AC Milan attack and put aside doubts about him staying with the Italian giants.
Pulisic’s injury recovery saw him miss the most recent USMNT international window, though his recent performances and contract extension demonstrate that he is very much a valuable asset to Mauricio Pochettino. That said, he faces competition across the attacking line from Gio Reyna, Cavan Sullivan, Malik Tillman, and Mathis Albert among others for a starting XI spot.
