Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong has shared a fitness update as he works on his recovery from a knee injury sustained at World Cup 2026 with the Netherlands.
The Dutchman is yet to play for Barcelona this season but will hopefully return to full training after the current international break.
De Jong has now posted an update on his progress, sharing a carousel of pictures of him working hard to get into shape at the Ciutat Esportiva.
The latest estimates suggest that De Jong could potentially return
to action in November, provided there are no further setbacks in his recovery, and make his first appearance of the season against Alaves in La Liga.
De Jong still has a way to go until he can be considered ready for selection but the current signs certainly seem positive, and his latest social media activity suggests his rehab is going to plan.
The next step will be linking up with his team-mates once again, another important step in the road to a first-team comeback for the midfielder.
