WWE is returning to Canada this summer with three big events, and Canadian legend Kevin Owens helped break the news.
Owens spoke to fans on social media Monday while promoting WWE’s return to the Great White North in August for the following three shows:
- Thursday, Aug. 20: London, Ontario, Canada Life Place — WWE Summer Tour (live event)
- Friday, Aug. 21: Toronto, Scotiabank Arena — Friday Night SmackDown
- Monday, Aug. 24: Ottawa, Canadian Tire Centre — Monday Night Raw
Tickets go on sale to the public this Friday, May 8, at 10 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster.ca, with an exclusive presale starting Thursday, May 7 at 10 a.m. ET.
Owens also mentioned that Thursday is his birthday and urged fans to get tickets, joking they could
treat it as a gift from him to them, though he added he will not be paying for the tickets.
The former Universal Champion said he hasn’t been doing much since undergoing neck surgery last July, showing his scar from the procedure. His last match came at Elimination Chamber in March 2025, where he defeated Sami Zayn in an unsanctioned bout.
Owens signed off with a heartfelt message, telling fans, “I really miss you guys, and I mean that 100 percent.”
Advertised to Appear
After Owens broke the news, WWE confirmed the announcement across its social media and website. The initial promotional graphic features LA Knight, Sami Zayn, Cody Rhodes, Liv Morgan, and Gunther.
On its website, Canada Life Place also lists additional names for its live event, including Drew McIntyre, Rhea Ripley, and Oba Femi.
A promotional graphic for SmackDown at Scotiabank Arena includes Jade Cargill, Jacob Fatu, and Randy Orton, who is currently absent from WWE programming.
For Raw, initial advertising at the Canadian Tire Centre features Roman Reigns. Reigns, who was reportedly pulled from June events according to several outlets, is still appearing on the official ticket site for Night of Champions on June 27.
As always, cards are subject to change, and some advertised talent may not appear.
