The Las Vegas Raiders improved to 2-0 Sunday with a 26-14 win at the Los Angeles Chargers. Let’s llok at their wide-receiver production in the game
Let’s look at them all:
Jalen Nailor
The free-agent addition led all Raiders’ wide receivers with 38 snaps (60 percent). He played 60 percent of the snaps in Week 1 as well. He had one catch for nine yards on three targets. He has four catches for 46 yards on eight targets in two games. The Raiders signed him to a three-year, $35 million contract this offseason.
Tre Tucker
The fourth-year player played 37 snaps, a week after leading the Raiders with 48 snaps. He had a big game with five catches for 119 yards and a score. He had two catches of 40-plus yards. He had 49 receiving yards or less in his previous 12 games. Consistency had been an issue for the fourth-year player ut he is surely capable of having big games.
Jack Bech
The 2025 second-round pick played 54 percent of the snaps in Week 2 after playing 39 percent against the Dolphins. Bech had two catches on two targets for 25 yards against the Chargers. He has five catches for 48 yards on six targets this season.
Dareke Young:
He played 12 offensive snaps and he was targeted once affer not being targeted in Week 1. He came through with a big 27-yard reception on a tricky on the siries the Raiders took the lead in the third quarter.
Malik Benson
The rookie sixth-round pick played eight offensive snaps after playing seven in Week 1. He was targeted onc. He has one catch on three targets in two games.
Cody White:
The player, elevated from the practice squad, played just seven offensive snaps, but boy did he make them count He had two catches (both touchdowns) for 24 yards.
Conclusion:
The production from Tucker and White was terrific, but they need to get more from Nailor and Bech moving forward.
