Duke’s remarkable turnaround continued at Miami as the Blue Devils won their 12th straight, 74-58.
The Blue Devils ran out to a 39-23 halftime lead before Miami fought back from 19 down and cut the lead to three
in the fourth quarter. But Duke rallied and ripped off a 12-0 lead to put Miami away.
Duke nearly blanked Miami from behind the line, holding the ‘Canes to 1-11. Overall, Miami was better at 41% but not enough ultimately to close the gap.
Toby Fournier led the way with 23 points on 10-16/1-2 shooting and 11 rebounds. Taina Mair added 18. Duke shot 54% from deep and 50% overall.
Duke’s turnaround is one of the cooler things we’ve seen lately. Starting 3-6 and going to 15-6 is crazy. The Blue Devils get a chance to move it to 13 with a visit from Wake Forest on Sunday.
