The BVB jet will be feeling the miles with another away day, this time abroad. Dortmund are travelling to England this week to face off against Manchester City after their weekend victory in Bavaria against FC
Augsburg. The matches keep coming for BVB, but fortunately, the squad seems to be keeping mostly fit.
Dortmund are pretty well placed in the UCL so far, sitting pretty at sixth. It’s City who are in seventh, though, and they will see this week’s home match as a great opportunity to move up the table.

- You might have missed it, but Emre Can made his return for BVB on Friday, albeit only to the bench. Can has been on the sidelines for five months, but before his injury, he had cemented himself as an important pillar of the BVB 3-man defense.
- Borussia Dortmund will play Bayer Leverkusen in Dortmund in the next round of the DFB Pokal. That’s sure to be a big one.
- Niko Kovac told the media that Jobe Bellingham is developing “faster than expected”. Hopefully the negative Bellingham media is behind us.

- There was a skirmish between Dortmund and Schalke supporters in Köln over the weekend, involving a stopped train and some police intervention.
- Borussia Monchengladbach finally recorded a win! And a pretty big one, putting four past St. Pauli, who find themselves in freefall after a strong start to the season.
- Bayern dispatched Leverkusen with relative ease at the Allianz. Any hope that the other “big teams” in the league would help trip Bayern up are dying out.
- Jamal Musiala is expected back for Bayern no sooner than December, while Frankfurt’s Can Uzun has reportedly torn a muscle, and could be out several weeks. The injury comes at an unfortunate time for the youngster whose form normalizing since his hot start to the season.
