When the Cleveland Browns finally make the Super Bowl, their amazing fans will finally be rewarded for their lifetime of commitment. It is fun to read about what Browns fans will do when their team actually does make the big game.
Why bring this up? Hope is now found when looking at Cleveland’s young roster. A defense led by DE Jared Verse, CB Denzel Ward, S Grant Delpit, LB Carson Schwesinger, and DT Mason Graham is something that can be built around, while the revamped offensive line can make way
for a very dynamic set of skill position players: RB Quinshon Judkins, TE Harold Fannin Jr., and WRs Jerry Jeudy, Denzel Boston, KC Concepcion, and Isaiah Bond.
According to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated and Monday Morning Quarterback, that could put the Browns in a great place if they can add a young quarterback (we would include the possibility, even if slim, that Shedeur Sanders could be that guy) who can add the missing and vital piece:
It might not show up in the win column yet, but I love the Browns’ young core…
Now the Browns are set up what could be a pretty nice situation for a young quarterback in 2027.
Unfortunately for Cleveland fans, that win column is still the most important thing. Fans don’t like losing, even if it might give the Browns a better chance for a top-level quarterback prospect.
A poll on DBN earlier this offseason saw an interesting split and comments about whether the young roster looking good, but the team still losing a lot of games, would be acceptable or not:
What do you think about Breer’s belief in the Browns young roster and do you think they are a good, young quarterback away from starting their road to Super Bowl contention in a few years?
