Season Outlook: With Jacob Fowler moving on to the NHL, Korec is the next man up in goal for Boston College. He has seen very limited action in his last two seasons, but still looked solid when his number was called. He has a 4-1 overall record when playing in net including a shutout victory
over UMass Lowell and an OT victory over Providence last season. His expectations are not as high as Fowler’s were, given that Fowler just had a Mike Richter award-winning season, but Korec is still expected to be a solid presence in net for a BC defense that should be one of the better units in the nation.
