We are a little less than ninety minutes from kickoff at Ford Field, and both the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions have released their inactive lists for this afternoon’s contest. Let’s take a look
at who will be sitting this one out for both sides.
Minnesota Vikings
- FB C.J. Ham
- DL Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins
- LB Austin Keys
- CB Jeff Okudah
- TE Josh Oliver
- OT Walter Rouse
- TE Ben Sims
No real surprises for the Vikings on their injury report. Both Christian Darrisaw and Brian O’Neill are active for this one, which is a positive for the offense. Also worth noting that the Vikings don’t have an “emergency” quarterback on the roster for this week, as John Wolford remains on the practice squad. So, it’s just J.J. McCarthy and Max Brosmer in this one. What could go wrong?
Also, and possibly most importantly, Andrew Van Ginkel is back in the lineup, and will hit the field for the first time since Week 3. Welcome back, Gink!
Detroit Lions
- S Erick Hallett
- DL Quinton Jefferson
- S Kerby Joseph
- RB Craig Reynolds
- S Jammie Robinson
- DL Mekhi Wingo
The Lions have both OT Taylor Decker and CB Terrion Arnold available for this one, which is a plus for them. No big surprises on the inactive list for them, as far as I can see.
Those are the inactive lists for today’s game, ladies and gentlemen. We’ve got our first Open Thread dropping at around 11:30 AM Central time, half an hour before kickoff, and we hope that you’ll join us.
