The New York Giants officially placed injured quarterback Jaxson Dart on injured reserve Thursday. Dart, who will undergo knee surgery, will miss the remainder of the season.
Per the league’s transactions wire, no move to replace Dart on the roster has yet been made. Jameis Winston is the only quarterback on the 53-man roster. Jake Haener is on the practice squad. There have been reports that the Giants are interested in adding veteran quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.

Edge defender Brian Burns (ankle)
and left tackle Andrew Thomas (groin) missed practice. Burns has missed both practices this week. It would seem unlikely at this point that either player will be available for Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans.
Cornerback Deonte Banks, who missed Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams with a calf injury, was a limited practice participant.
