Stetson Hatters junior combo guard Ethan Copeland, out of the Atlantic Sun Conference, is one of the best available shooters in the NCAA’s transfer portal. The 6-2, 180-pounder recently took Zoom calls with the Gonzaga Bulldogs, Loyola Marymount Lions, and Pacific Tigers, per League Ready. The VCU Rams and Marshall Thundering Herd are also in the hunt.
Copeland averaged 15.0 points on a shooting split of 44.0 field goal percentage, 42.9 three-point percentage (ranked No. 16 in the country), and 79.4
free throw percentage in 2025-26. He also added 3.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.5 steals per game for the Hatters.
Originally from Sunnyside, Washington, the sniper played his high school ball at powerhouse Lone Peak in Highland, Utah. He started his college career at Salt Lake City Community College in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Zags were lacking in the three-point shooting department, only hitting 33.3 percent of their looks from deep. That mark finished No. 218 in the nation, so Copeland can help fill that desperately needed to be filled void.
