The Las Vegas Raiders
are undefeated in 2026 regular-season games, winning Week 18 last season and taking down the Miami Dolphins 27-13 in Sunday’s season opener. But now it’s time to check in on a few old friends and see how Daniel Carlson, Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers fared in Week 1 for this week’s former Raider check-in.Daniel Carlson
- Game result: Saints lose 31-30 in OT

This was a crazy game where the New Orleans Saints battled back from being down 21-0 about halfway through the third quarter to tie the game in regulation. However, New Orleans had
a chance to win it before overtime, trotting Carlson out for a 62-yard field goal attempt. The kick had the distance but was wide right, and the Saints went for two/the win in overtime but didn’t convert to fall one point short. To be fair, that would have been a career-long for Carlson. His best kick in Las Vegas was his last one, a 60-yarder to beat the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 18 last season.
Davante Adams
- Game result: Rams lose 27-7
- Stats: 3 catches, 26 yards
So much for the Los Angeles Rams being a super team. The Rams tried to beat jet lag and ended up looking like a pack of sleeping koalas in Australia. As the score above shows, their offense never really got off the ground. That includes Adams, who was hardly impactful against the San Francisco 49ers. Los Angeles has plenty of experience and Pro Bowls on its roster, but they’re also one of the older teams in the league. The 33-year-old wideout is part of that and has been showing signs of slowing down recently, even while leading the NFL in touchdowns last year.
Jakobi Meyers
- Game result: Jaguars win 34-10
- Stats: 2 catches, 40 yards, 1 TD
Speaking of sleeping, this game was a snooze-fest. The Jaguars jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter and led 24-0 heading into the locker room. The Cleveland Browns were never in the game and showed little to no signs of life offensively. Meanwhile, Meyers wasn’t a game-changer for Jacksonville by any means. But he did contribute to the beatdown, finishing as the team’s second-leading receiver and putting the ball in the end zone to make it a 31-0 game at the beginning of the third quarter.
