There will be five opportunities to get an early look at Arizona’s 2027 team this fall, including one that could be parlayed with taking in a few other UA sports.
The Wildcats announced their fall schedule on Thursday, one that includes two exhibitions against a Mexico pro team and one against another Division I school in addition to two against in-state junior colleges.
The UA will once again participate in the Mexican Baseball Fiesta
at Kino Stadium, facing Naranjeros de Hermosillo on Oct. 1, and those teams will meet again at Hi Corbett Field on Oct. 9. The Naranjeros play in the Mexican Pacific League and in past seasons has included former Arizona catcher Cesar Salazar.
Arizona will host both Pima College and Central Arizona for exhibitions later in October then wrap up fall competition Nov. 1 against Vanderbilt in Las Vegas. That game is the day before the UA men’s basketball team opens the 2026-27 season in Vegas against UCLA and the UA women’s squad takes on Stanford, giving fans who head to Sin City early a chance to triple down on Wildcat sports.
The UA opens the 2027 season on Feb. 19 in Arlington, Texas against defending NCAA champion Oklahoma, also facing Virginia and Clemson in the Shiners Children’s College Showdown. Arizona’s home opener is Feb. 23 vs. UNLV.
