The Guardians had a great series-opening win against the Rockies.
Jake covered it for us here in a very fun recap. Stephen Vogt talked a lot about Kwan and Bazzana not trying to do too much and taking the ball where it was pitched. I know folks are concerned the team is overemphasizing pull-lift. Vogt never sounds like a guy who believes every pitch should be pulled and lifted, for what it’s worth.
Since I questioned if trading for Patrick Bailey was a mistake, he has been Barry Bonds. So… we should
bench Rocchio, guys. He’s terrible.
