Hello and happy Monday, folks. What a weekend it was in Boston; no matter how poorly we’re doing, it’s always nice to drop a turd in the Yankees’ punch bowl.
As awesome as a four-game sweep of those pricks from the Bronx is, forgive me if I’m not exactly sold on the idea of this past series at Fenway being a definitive turning point for the 2026 season. After all, we’re still considerably below .500 as we get closer to the start of July. To boot, we’ve had a handful of other chances to build momentum
this year to no avail.
On the other hand, maybe an electric walk-off victory last night to cap off the sweep of your most hated rival could set things into motion?
I dunno! That’s why I’m asking y’all today: could we finally be seeing a turning point, or is that Yankees sweep just going to end up being another mirage?
